HOT OFF THE PRESS!

Some other recent additions to Bored Feet’s Library:

  • Bored Feet is proud to present three excellent children’s story books about the early settlers of the American West, The Balloon Boy of San Francisco and Sallie Fox: The Story of a Pioneer Girl, both by Dorothy Kupcha Leland, and Patty Reed's Doll: The Story of the Donner Party, a classic of western history for children by Rachel Laurgaard. All three books feature excellent and compelling storytelling, plus a strong and accurate historical perspective on their times and settings.
  • Mapaholics cannot live for another week without a copy of Rich Owings’ brand new GPS Mapping. Learn how to make your own maps using free USGS maps and the global positioning system.
  • In the realm of fantastic nature, Lalo Fiorelli's striking new Hidden Splendors of the Yucatan reveals mindbending images and great stories of the fantastic underwater caves explored there in recent years. We also have obtained a stock of Fiorelli's Wild Splendors of California, with stunning photos from all over the state.
  • Olaf Palm: A Life in Art is a fascinating biography of this richly talented artist with scores of diverse examples of Palm’s wonderful paintings.
  • In a different, also spiritually focused vein, Thaïs Mazur's compelling book, Warrior Mothers, documents 24 inspiring mothers and their actions to create a better world.
  • Bored Feet is proud to announce that we now distribute the wonderful tide charts to northern California, southern California, Washington, and Hawaii from the Hawaiian Resources Company.

In our Outdoor Recreation line, we're proud to welcome Maximus Press, publishers of definitive climbing guides for California rock. Inside you'll find all their information- and image-rich guides, four covering the Sierra Nevada—the Mammoth area, the Big Chief area, the Owens River Gorge area, and the forty top High Sierra climbs—plus one for the Santa Monica Mountains, with more to come.

In other news, we've lowered prices on our two favorite poetry titles and two fine art photography books:

And don‘t foget the books that made Bored Feet famous:
